It’s the return of The Temps…

Back with a shift in line-up and a reworking of their track SOUP and an excitingly unique version of the Roy Orbison track In Dreams. This is new ground for the North Liverpool foursome and a miserable development in the genre we now know and love called Gloom. From the dark regions of your body and soul comes a band that are starting to set the world alight in many ways. This new releases adds further fuel to that fire.

In Dreams is a fitting cover and The Temps give it their typically morose makeover. There are whispered rumours of dubstep remixes from the band as they build on their own recording studio in Liverpool.

This is band that is really kicking on in 2012 and this release shows they are fulfilling their early potential. Expect more releases. Expect more gigs. Expect more misery and GLOOM!

Download the new tracks from here for free!

Super Fast Girlie Show and The Dead Class frontman Villy Raze have combined to churn out a monster collaboration, Sniffin’ Out The Dirty Rat is out Monday 13th February.

Super Fast Girlie Show, a band known for doing things differently, reemerge with this new track that is far from their ordinary breakneck speed.

Villy Raze in inspired form dons a Tom Waits sneer and resurrects a riff from the Tony Iommi hurt locker to join Pasha and Sefton aka SFGS in a demi-sludge-core dirge of noise. As evil and conspiring as anything we’ve from either before. Sniffin’ Out The Dirty Rat sounds like it’s been recorded through a megaphone in an abbatoir.

Check the video.

The track is free to download from here.

The Super Fast Girlie Show album All Hooves and Cucumber is available on 7″ vinyl and also for digital download complete with video and other goodies.

Fill your boots.

1) Map on phone – wtf is the Baltic Triangle?

2) Xtra long johns/tights – it’s not called Baltic for nothing!

3) Loadsa Money – you want to get smashed & you want a wristband AND come away at the end of the night with an @ElmoandtheStyx T-shirt!

4) Practice saying this “Where is the Antipop stage?” You won’t need a map of the building, you just blabber this question and follow the signs/instructions.

5) DON’T BE LATE! We start at 7:30pm sharp!

6) Bring everything you need. Yes, just like every other festival in the world there are no shops anywhere near. Ciggies, check! Buckfast, check!

That is all.

*If you’re not going you should follow us on Twitter where we will hopefully(!) be streaming some clips throughout the night – internet Gods willing.

The Dauntless Elite from Leeds are a band we’ve wanted to put on since seeing them at Lincoln’s ‘Crash Doubt Fest’ back in May last year. Made up to have these yorkshire lads on.

Wigan Punks Truro have confirmed on this show It’s very fitting as these guys played our first ever show. Looking forward to have them in Liverpool again.

Basement 20 is the venue and the event takes place on February 25th. An early start is scheduled with doors at 6pm and bands playing late into the night.

Concert organisers have aimed to keep costs down (£3 entry) to allow all the more people to attend. They have also asked people to come down early and maintain stamina as it will be a long night with eight different bands performing!

Antipop supports the work of the local scene and endorses this gig fully.
