The Wasters are the Liverpool 1997 punk band of under 21 year olds.

Things we advise #Threshold12 goers tonight @CampandFurnace

1) Map on phone – wtf is the Baltic Triangle?

2) Xtra long johns/tights – it’s not called Baltic for nothing!

3) Loadsa Money – you want to get smashed & you want a wristband AND come away at the end of the night with an @ElmoandtheStyx T-shirt!

4) Practice saying this “Where is the Antipop stage?” You won’t need a map of the building, you just blabber this question and follow the signs/instructions.

5) DON’T BE LATE! We start at 7:30pm sharp!

6) Bring everything you need. Yes, just like every other festival in the world there are no shops anywhere near. Ciggies, check! Buckfast, check!

That is all.

*If you’re not going you should follow us on Twitter where we will hopefully(!) be streaming some clips throughout the night – internet Gods willing.

Big names from around the UK such as Black Star Dub Collective, John Player Specials, Head Games, join host of local acts including Pete Bentham and the Dinnerladies, The Vermin Suicides, We The Undersigned, Old Radio and The Wasters for a special fundraiser that will help support the local scene.

Basement 20 is the venue and the event takes place on February 25th. An early start is scheduled with doors at 6pm and bands playing late into the night.

Concert organisers have aimed to keep costs down (£3 entry) to allow all the more people to attend. They have also asked people to come down early and maintain stamina as it will be a long night with eight different bands performing!

Antipop supports the work of the local scene and endorses this gig fully.
